Electrical safety is essential, especially when it comes to your home and your family. Switchboard faults can result in serious injury, house fires and death.
If your home was built pre 2018, it is highly likely your switchboard does not comply with updated regulations and therefore, would not be deemed safe. Furthermore, smoke alarm batteries should also be replaced every year and smoke alarms should be replaced every 10 years.

JAAZ Home Safety Service Comprehensive Package
- Electrical safety check on all electrical appliances, installations and fittings inside and outside your home.
- Test all smoke alarms and replace all smoke alarm batteries. Batteries will then be replaced annually for your annual home safety check.
- RCD testing and thorough assessment of the main switchboard – If replacement RCD’s are required, our team will provide a comprehensive switchboard upgrade quote to allow you to address any safety issue promptly.
- Detailed Electrical Report with photos issued showing state of property and what work needs to be completed to comply with regulations and most importantly, safe for your family. Where applicable we will provide a comprehensive quote of further works required.
- If there are minor issues that can be addressed while our team are on your premises, e.g. an unsafe powerpoint, our team can complete works on the day, with your permission, to save on further call out fees.
- Annual reminder emails will be sent to book in your yearly Home Safety Service.
Our JAAZ Home Safety Service packages are offered at a fixed price with upfront payment and no hidden fees once we are at your property, unless agreed upon by the home owner.
JAAZ Electrical prides itself on our communication as our focus is on reliability and ease of service for our clients. Our online booking system allows you to book in your home safety service for a day/time that suits you and our team will be in touch via email to confirm your booking.
